The Rosevelt Soccer Club's U18s tied the Dutch Soccer Academy (DSA) 3-3 yesterday in a Maine State Premier League game at the University of Southern Maine.
DSA struck first in the nineteenth minute and held onto the 1-0 lead for about thirty minutes before Ahmed Hadi ('16) scored the first of his three goals on an assist by Sajjad Abdulabas ('17) in the 40th minute. Hadi's goal on a Noor Abdulabas ('17) pass in the 80th minute put Rosevelt SC up 2-1, but DSA quickly answered with a tying goal in the 82nd minute. DSA scored again a minute later for the 3-2 lead, but Hadi completed his hat trick with about two minutes remaining in the game.
D.J. Henrikson ('16) made seven saves, including a couple great saves to secure the tie.
