Game Recap: U16s Win MSPL Title on PKs

The Rosevelt Soccer Club U16s (7-0) won in penalty kicks to DSA United (5-2) in the Maine State Premier League final yesterday at Thomas College.

DSA United scored in the 14th and 39th minutes to take a 2-0 halftime lead, but the Bull Moose opened the second half with a Sam Burghardt (2018) goal in the 42nd minute and a Jean-Marc Lahomboli (2018) goal in the 49th minute to tie the game. The score remained tied for the remainder of regulation and for another twenty minutes of overtime.

Rosevelt SC then won in penalty kicks on its fifth and final shot.
